Here you can see a very basic boulder wall with a tiered look of boulders in the middle of the planting area.  This basic wall is nice because it can be used in almost any situation and does not have to be very large.  This small corner area now makes the home look more appealing instead of overrun with weeds like so many corner areas are.
Here is an image of a slightly larger boulder edge that we did but it demonstrates the simple, clean and appealing look that boulders can add to your landscape. 
Now that we have shown you the basics of what boulders can look like in your yard now let me switch to a more elaborate boulder wall.  Yes boulders are very versatile and can make great walls if you hire the right landscaping company.  Boulders and natural stone are much more difficult to install therefor not every landscaper in Pittsburgh is capable of doing them.
